Is Thai PM going to cook Burma??

Bloggers Thought

Wire News said that Thai PM Samak, is going to cook for Burmese self appointed PM Thein Sein. This blogger is very sure Samak has planned to cook Burma in his frying pan as there will be no better time than current situation, to exploit Burma.

Wire news also said that Thai PM is a profesional chef, and he has decided to keep the menu for Thein Sein in dark.

The secret recipe for Burma is to help the Military Junta to stay in power forever, so that Thai could continue exploiting Burmese rich natural resources until all of them depleted.

Samak said he supports “Constructive engagement with Burma”, which has been declared as major policy failure by ASEAN Supremos, Ex Malaysian PM Mahathir and Singapore’s Lee Kun Yu.

Carry on Samak. Cook Burma until we all have independence. Alll Burmese are well aware that you are intentionally obstructing the path!.

Burmese are working in slave like condition in Thailand factories without basic human rights.

War Crime Tribunal for Charles Taylor of Liberia, Crimes against Humanity.

charles-taylor.jpg

Once he was a president now is a Criminal !

Excerpt from CNN

THE HAGUE, Netherlands (CNN) — Former Liberian President Charles Taylor appeared in court Monday at the resumption of his war crimes trial, six months after boycotting the opening session and calling the trial a “charade.”

He did not speak.

The first witness Monday was Canadian author Ian Smillie, who is considered an expert in the trade of blood diamonds, so called because funds from their sale fuel African rebel groups. He was testifying for the prosecution, explaining how the trade in ‘blood diamonds’ exacerbated the conflict.

Taylor, who was president of Liberia from 1997 to 2003, is charged with five counts of crimes against humanity, including murder, sexual slavery and violence, and enslavement. He also faces five counts of war crimes, including acts of terrorism and torture, and one count of other serious violations of international humanitarian law.

Taylor is accused of fueling a bloody civil war in Sierra Leone that led to widespread murder, rape, and mutilation. He has pleaded not guilty to the charges.

The war, which involved riches from the diamond trade, was fought largely by teenagers who were forced to kill, given addictive drugs to provoke violent behavior, and often instructed to rape and plunder.

AUNG SAN SU KYI UNWELL. Overseas Group accused she was poisoned!

Updated 9/01/2008

The news, accusing that Daw Aung San Suu Kyi has been poisoned through the water she drinks, has been circulating in this blogosphere for few days. However, this type of news are very difficult to be independently confirmed.

After watching at Benazir Bhutto’s assassination, what this blogger can safely say is “She is at Risk”.

Burma’s detained opposition leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, was visited twice by a doctor at the weekend in an unusual break from the regime-ordained routine, which allows her only two medical calls a month.

According to Irrawady news,Nyan Win, spokesman of her National League for Democracy, said it wasn’t known why Suu Kyi needed medical treatment, but he had been told she was now better.

“Her heath is important not only for herself but also for the country,” he said.

However, a group of Monks studying in Sri Lanka issued a statement that Daw Aug Su Kyi has been given poison by the Junta, that makes her ill.

The blogger can not confirm that accusations. But recently Russian spies successfully assasinated a vocal critic in UK by giving radioactive substance. Also one of the liberated, Ex USSR empire PMs, was given same kind of poison. However he survived. Burmese Junta might have some good formula from their counterpart in Russia.

Jade warehouses to be ready for sale. Junta’s way of making money!

jade-for-the-sales.gif

Source Myanmar Times

TWO jade warehouses out of nine being built in Yangon to accommodate miners from upper Myanmar will be ready for the Myanma Gem Enterprise’s mid-year emporium next month, an engineer with the YCDC said.An MGE official last week said new accommodation for foreign gem and jade merchants was also planned, including a hotel to be built near the Myanmar Convention Centre – where the MGE holds its sales – by Ruby Dragon Co., Ltd, which operates several jade and gem mines in upper Myanma

This is a very simple example of how Generals make money.  While majority of public has no access to regular electricity, unable to go to work as they can not afford the bus fare, the Generals and their proxies are using the private jets and helicopters ordering Pitzas and KfC from neighbouring countries, using their own home delivery service.

When the General catch a cold they get treatment not in Burma but in a neighbouring country. Generals  wives can go for shopping in the tax free shopping haven countries, and Children of them can go back home every weekend from overseas.

Politics of Burma in near future will be more dynamic in  favour of oppressed people of the Burma as enormous injustice has been done done by the Junta . Their evil deeds will push them towards their destiny: The Hell!

Greetings dear comrade. This is such a wonderful site, just like what they say about meals, a wholesome site ) The Burmese Diasporas could keep fighting this illegitimate government made up of military dogs (I am in no way insulting the dogs, SPCA pls take note) if only we have a united front and take action. These bastards will one day face justice, but the golden question for our golden motherland is, When? It’s a question I ask myself. Freedom , justice and liberty lose out by default because good people do nothing, they just keep quiet and hope for things to change while keep on living in their wonderful life, fear of doing anything coz this act of defiance could alter their ease in life. Lets all work together, I need you, we need each other, after all, we are just mere davids against goliath. There come a time in life where we must choose between two evils for us to survive, a violent over thrown of the regime or just keep quiet and let evil flourish, while thousands of more lives parish without a trace. Take the lesser of two evils, which is to overthrow the scum of earth. Plz keep up the struggle, your blog is like a medicine to my burning heart. Thanx. Audentis fortuna iuvat!

Burmese Junta King Anger. UNDP head left Rangon.

petries-visa.jpgburmasoldiers.jpg

Following is the full text version from Irrawaddy, about Junta King Than Shwe’s anger, and analysis of the mind of the Junta’s king by Yeni  of Irrawaddy( Updated on 6.12.07)

http://www.irrawaddy.org/article.php?art_id=9511

Charles Petries Visa (Photo- above) has criticised the Junta

The statement, issued by the UN country team in Rangoon, declared that the concerns of the Burmese people had been “clearly expressed through the recent peaceful demonstrations, and it is beholden on all to listen.”

The demonstrations had highlighted that many of the Burmese people’s aspirations—“development, prosperity, peace, security and dignity for all”—were not yet “a reality for all.”

The September events, the statement said, had “clearly demonstrated the everyday struggle to meet basic needs, and the urgent necessity to address the deteriorating humanitarian situation in the country.”

The UN statement followed one issued jointly by more than a dozen international humanitarian organizations urging “all parties to increase their efforts to address the underlying causes of the current situation.”

Referring to these “underlying causes,” the UN statement said that “while acknowledging the efforts made by the government of Myanmar [Burma] to build schools, clinics, hospitals and roads, the UN system in Myanmar [Burma] nevertheless sees every day that in this potentially prosperous country basic human needs are not being met.

“Today, Myanmar’s [Burma’] estimated per capita GDP is less than half that of Cambodia or Bangladesh. The average household is forced to spend almost three quarters of its budget on food. One in three children under five are suffering from malnutrition, and less than 50 percent of children are able to complete their primary education.

“It is estimated that close to 700,000 people each year suffer from malaria, and 130,000 from tuberculosis. Among those infected with HIV, an estimated 60,000 people needing anti-retrovirals do not yet have access to this life-saving treatment.”

The UN statement stung Burma’s Foreign Ministry into issuing a “strong protest,” complaining that it was “very negative [and] deliberately ignores the successful conclusion of the National Convention which has adopted basic principles for the new constitution as well as the economic development and the gains made in various sectors, such as education, health, transportation etc.”

These gains would be greater were it not for the sanctions levied against Burma, the Foreign Ministry said.

The Ministry said it had been “disappointed” by the decision to issue the statement, which had “jeopardized the good working relations existing between the Ministry and the Country Team [the UN representation in Burma.]”

The Ministry demarche made no mention of the upcoming visit by Gambari, expected to begin within the next few days.

The latest news from Burma said UN Head Of The Office in Rangoon was surmoned to Nay Pyi Daw by the Junta Officials. The news also said his job is officially terminated by the Military Regime.

Charles Petrie has been accused by the government of overstepping his duties by criticising Myanmar’s “deteriorating humanitarian situation”.

Indian Dental Surgeon was quite surprised as Pa Pa Lay came all the way from Burma to India, just for a simple Dental treatment. Then he asked ” Don’t you have Dental Surgeons in Burma?”
