ကိုယ္ဘေလာ့ကို ေရးျခင္စိတ္ရွိမွေရးေတာ့မယ္ လို႕ဆုံးျဖတ္ထား ျပီးမွဧရာဝတီက အထက္ပါေခါင္းစဥ္နဲ႕ ေဆာင္းပါးကိုဖတ္ျပီးခ်တ္ ျခင္း စိတ္ထဲမွာေပၚလာတဲ့အတိုင္း comment ေရး ပို႕လိုက္မိတယ္။ အစ ကိုဆြဲထုတ္မိျပီးမွေတာ့ မထူးေတာ့ပါဖူး လို႕ဆုံးျဖတ္ျပီး ကိုယ္တို႕ ေခတ္က ဂ်ီပုံး လို႕ေခၚတဲ့ လိင္တူခ်စ္သူေတြ အေၾကာင္းဆက္ေရး ျဖစ္ပါတယ္။ ပထမဦးဆုံး ကိုယ့္ comment ကို မျဖတ္မေတာက္ပဲ ေဖာ္ျပေပးတဲ့ဧရာဝတီက သက္ဆိုင္သူမ်ားကိုေက်းဇူးတင္ပါတယ္။ ကိုယ့္ရဲ့အျမင္က အဲဒီ comment ထဲကအတိုင္းပါပဲ။ ္

ေရးျခင္တဲ့အေၾကာင္းရင္းက comment ေတြ ကိုဖတ္ၾကည့္ေတာ့ ေရးေနတဲ့ လူေတြကိုယ္တိုင္ Gay အေၾကာင္းကို ေသေသခ်ာခ်ာနားမလည္ပဲေရးေနတာေတြ ဖတ္ရလို႕ပါ။ အခ်ိဳ႕ ကေတာ့ ကိုယ္တိုင္ Gay ျဖစ္ပုံရပါတယ္။ အဆင့္ျမင့္ျမင့္နဲ႕ Gay ေတြကို ကာကြယ္ ေပးေနလို႕ပါ။ အဲဒီ ေဆာင္းပါးဟာျမန္မာ ေယာတ္က်ားတစ္ေယာက္က က်ေနာ္ထဘီဝတ္ခ်င္တယ္ လို႕ မယုံၾကည္ႏိုင္ေလာက္ေအာင္ အရွက္ကင္းမဲ့စြာ ေၾကညာတာကို အာလုံးက အဟုတ္ ဒီမိုကေရစီနဲ႕ Human Rights issue, Freedom of expression ေတြနဲ႕ေရာကုန္မွာစိုးလို႕ general အေနနဲ႕ေရးထားတာပါ။

အခု ေရးခ်င္တာကေဆာင္းပါးရွင္ကိုယ္တိုင္ Homosexuality ဆိုတဲ့ issue ကိုေသေသခ်ာခ်ာနားမလည္ပဲ gay rights ကိုပါးပါးေလးျဖတ္ျပီးလူေတြကို စာနဲ႕အဆိပ္ေႂကြးေနလို႕ ဆက္ေရးလိုက္ရတာပါ။

ကိုယ္ ရဲ့အလုပ္နဲ႕ဆက္စပ္ျပီး Cross dressing,မွအစ Transvestism, Transsexualism ေတြကို နားလည္ယံုမကအကူအညီေပး စိတ္ေျပာင္းလိုသူမ်ားကို ကူညီကုသေပးခဲ့ဖူးပါ တယ္။ No straight boy will become a gay after reading this post ဆိုသူ ကိုလဲ ကိုယ့္အေတြ႕အၾကံဳ တစ္ခုေျပာျပပါရေစ။ ျမန္မာျပည္ ျပင္ပက တကသိုယ္ၾကီးတခု က အေဆာင္တစ္ခုမွာ အေျခာက္ေတြၾကီးစိုးထားျပီး ေက်ာင္းသားသစ္ေလးေတြကို ဇတ္သြင္းတာၾကဳံရလို႕ သက္ဆိုင္ရာတာဝန္ရွိသူေတြနဲ႕ seminar ေတြတိုးတိုးတိတ္တိတ္လုပ္ျပီး အေဆာင္တခုထဲမွာၾကီးစိုးေနတဲ့အေျခာက္အုပ္စုၾကီးကို အေဆာင္အသီးသီးခြဲပို႕တဲ့အထိလုပ္ခဲ့ရပါတယ္။ ျမန္မာျပည္မွာမဟုတ္ဖူးေနာ္။ လြတ္လတ္စြာေျပာဆိုခြင့္ထိုက္သင့္သေလာက္ရွိတဲ့ႏိုင္ငံ တခုမွာပါ။

အေျခာက္ေတြနဲ႕ လိင္တူဆက္ဆံရင္ ကိုယ္က passive partner ပဲျဖစ္ျဖစ္ Homosexualityစာရင္းဝင္ပါတယ္။ British panel court ကအေျခခံဥပေဒယူတဲ့အာရွႏိုင္ငံတိုင္းမွာ Abnormal, unnatural sex ကို တရားမဝင္အျပစ္ေပးထိုက္တယ္လို႕ဆိုပါတယ္။

ဆိုဒိုမီ ဆိုတဲ့ စကားတလုံးနဲ႕ုႏိုင္ငံေရးေခါင္းေဆာင္အခ်ိဳ႕အၾကီးအက်ယ္ျပသနာတက္တာ

သတိထားမိၾကမွာပါ။ တကယ္ဟုတ္မဟုတ္္ ဆိုတာထက္ဥပေဒရွိတာကို ဆိုလိုတာပါ။

ျမန္မာလူငယ္ေလးေတြဟာပညာငတ္ေနပါတယ္။ေမွ်ာ္လင့္ခ်က္မဲ့ေနပါတယ္။

Relating to Irrawaddy news post;I would like to wear a woman’s sarong

I was shocked to read the article “I would like to wear a Woman’s Sarong” in the Irrawwaddy on- line news.

My point here is not to argue the right of the Gays. The Irrawaddy is the flagship news portal among exile media. If I am not wrong, thousands of Burmese youth will bump into Irrawaddy website daily to read the news and opinions related to Burma.

Recently, I have noticed Irrawaddy has improved far better than its rivals in all aspects of online journalism. Having said that does not mean that Irrawaddy has right to publish what ever is popular and controversial issue like this to promote its readership.

I was very happy to read the Interview with Iron Cross band members when they sincerely told Irrawaddy that most of them do not even drink Beer. The words of the Burma’s most famous band have great influence on the youths to follow the good moral conducts. Irrawaddy should not forget the fact that each and every words over your website will be read by thousands of youths everyday and consider the consequences.

Situation in Burma can not be considered parallel to the developed countries of the world.

We are struggling under the one of the most corrupt and ruthless regimes of this world.

Corruption is the outcome of the dictatorial society that will push its people deeper into poverty, immoral activity in a vicious cycle.

Most of us are well aware of moral decay in our society. Drug addiction, prostitution and human trafficking are the major problem for all of us. Our youth, who denied proper education and job opportunities, simply jump into the cycle of gambling, alcoholism, drug addiction and vice activities.

We need the brilliant leaders like General Aung San. We do not need the Gays in the time of great crisis. Human Right is important but Gay Right is just a trivial matter for all of us.

We do not want our younger generation to have more interest in make up business and beauty parlors but to get better knowledge for the future challenges.

I wish in future those who are responsible in Irrawaddy will not use this kind of controversial issue to attract more readerships. I do not think that post reflects the free and independent journalism. To me the post will be remembered as an era that triggers all of us to think seriously about the self censorship and responsible journalism.

Fire Fox security Add-on ,WOT

Fire Fox security Add-ons

This wonderful post was posted by a Myanmar blogger, Aung Thar Nge. I have found that WOT add on is very useful  for the Firefox browser users.

Following is not a direct translation of his post,but  what I have done exactly after reading the  post to my browser, according to the blogger’s advice. I  have already asked permission to re post in my blog. Later, I think  it will be useful,  if translated his message into English for non Burmese readers of the blog.( I have done another add on to his original post!)

The reason ?

I was the victim of security breach to my own blog that force me to delete a month ago.

This post is not a plagiarism as all the credit should go to the original author Aung Thar Nge.)

First you need to upgrade Fire Fox into the latest version. ( That is my own experience as I seemed to be using  the outdated version of Firefox)Other wise it will not work.

Then, you need to visit this link and will find the the add-ons.

WOT (Web of trust )

After installing WOT add-on, the clean sites and links  over your browser page will be highlighted with green spots, yellow  for unknown and red spots are the dangerous  sites!

To install the WOT add on first you click this link, and click on the add on tab on the Fire Fox home page. There will be an add on box, only thing you need to do is type WOT and click, then follow the instruction.

You need to restart the Fire Fox and you will see the links in the browser with green, yellow  and red spots.

According to the author, if you click the red alert link, there will be a screen asking whether you really want to proceed or not. So far I have never tried this.

Hope ko Aung Thar Nge will understand  my intention to fight the Evil in the Blogosphere as well as those are in the real world.

ဒီ Add-on ကို FireFox မွာ Install လုပ္ထားရင္ အႏၱရာယ္ရွိတဲ့ Web Site ေတြကို ကိုယ္ သြားမိတဲ့ အခါ သူက သတိ ေပးပါတယ္။ လင့္ေတြရဲ႕ အဆံုးမွာ အစိမ္းေရာင္၊ အနီေရာင္၊ အ၀ါေရာင္ အ၀ိုင္းေလးေတြနဲ႕ ျပထား ပါတယ္။ အစိမ္းေရာင္ကေတာ့ အႏၱရာယ္ မရွိ၊ အနီေရာင္ကေတာ့ အႏၱရာယ္ရွိ၊ အ၀ါေရာင္ ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ ဘာမွန္း မသိေသးဘူးေပါ့ေလ။

Web site က ဘာအႏၱရာယ္မွ မရွိရင္ ေဘးမွာ အစိမ္းေရာင္ အ၀ိုင္းေလးနဲ႕ ျပထားပါတယ္။

အႏၱရာယ္ရွိတဲ့ Web Site ေတြဆို အနီေရာင္ အ၀ိုင္းနဲ႕ ျပပါတယ္။

အနီေရာင္ ျပထားတဲ့ လင့္ကို မေတာ္တဆ ႏွိပ္မိလို႕ ေရာက္သြားရင္လည္း WOT Add-on က အဲလင့္ကို ခ်က္ခ်င္း မဖြင့္ေပးပါဘူး။ ေအာက္မွာ ျပထားတဲ့ အတိုင္း Warning ေပးပါတယ္။

ဘာပဲ ေျပာေျပာ ဘာမွ မရွိတာထက္ စာရင္ေတာ့ တခုခု ရွိေနတာက ပိုေကာင္းပါတယ္။

အဲ Add-on ကို install လုပ္ဖို႕ ပထမဆံုး ဒီကို သြားပါ။ ျပီးရင္ Add-ons မွာ All Add-ons ကို သြားပါ။ Search for Add-ons box မွာ WOT ရိုက္ထည့္လိုက္ပါ။ ျပီးရင္ ေဘးမွာ ေတြ႕ရမယ့္ Add to FireFox ဆိုတဲ့ button ေလးကို click လုပ္လိုက္ပါ။ ျပီးရင္ Install button ကို click လုပ္ပါ။ install လုပ္ျပီးသြားရင္ေတာ့ အဲ Add-on အသက္၀င္လာဖို႕ FireFox ကို Restart လုပ္ရပါမယ္။ ျပီးသြားရင္ေတာ့ Navigation Bar မွာ Address box ေဘးမွာ အ၀ိုင္းေလးကို ေတြ႕ရပါလိမ့္မယ္။

ေနာက္တခုကေတာ့ NoScript ပါ။

သူကလည္း Web site ေတြကို ဖြင့္ရင္ run ေလ့ရွိတဲ့ Java script နဲ႕ တျခား အႏၱရာယ္ရွိတဲ့ အရာ (executable program) ေတြကို ထိန္းခ်ဳပ္ေပးတဲ့ Add-on ပါ။ Web site တခုကို ဖြင့္လိုက္ရင္ အႏၱရာယ္ ရွိႏိုင္တဲ့ အရာေတြကို ဒီ Add-on က disable လုပ္ထားပါတယ္။ ကိုယ္ စိတ္ခ်တယ္ဆိုရင္ေတာ့ အဲ site အတြက္ အျမဲတမ္း allow လုပ္လိုက္လို႕ ရပါတယ္။ စိတ္မခ်ရင္ေတာ့ forbid လုပ္လိုက္ရံုပါပဲ။ ဒါမွမဟုတ္ ယာယီ allow လုပ္လို႕လည္း ရပါတယ္။

ဒီ Add-on ကို WOT ကို install လုပ္သလိုပဲ လုပ္ရမွာပါ။ search for Add-ons box မွာ NoScript ရိုက္ထည့္လိုက္ပါ။ Add to FireFox ဆိုတဲ့ button ေလးကို click လုပ္လိုက္ပါ။ ပီးရင္ install လုပ္ျပီး သြားရင္ေတာ့ FireFox ရဲ႕ ေအာက္ဆံုးက status bar မွာ S စာလံုးနဲ႕ အ၀ိုင္းေလး တခုကို ေတြ႕ရမွာပါ။ ကိုယ့္ဘာသာ စမ္းသပ္ ၾကည့္ၾက ပါေပါ့ေလ။

သယ္ရင္းေတြ ညီအကို ေမာင္ႏွမေတြ အကယ္၍ FireFox သံုးတယ္ဆိုရင္ အထက္က က်ေနာ္ ေျပာခဲ့တဲ့ Add-on ေလး ၂ ခုကိုေတာ့ Install လုပ္ထားၾကပါလို႕ တိုက္တြန္းခ်င္တာပါပဲ။

ဒီပို႕စ္မွာေတာ့ သည္ေလာက္နဲ႕ပဲ ေတာ္ဦးမယ္။ စိတ္ညစ္ကုန္ၾကမွာ စိုးလို႕ပါ။ ေနာက္ပို႕စ္ ေတြမွာမွ အသံုး၀င္တဲ့ တျခား ပရိုဂရမ္ေတြ အေၾကာင္း ေျပာျပပါဦးမယ္။

About a deleted blog, and Vigilance Theme of wordpress

Last month I have deleted my blog (burmasitmone.wordpress.com)that I have posted for two years with the tags of Burma, Myanmar, Democracy, and Military Junta of Burma.

Just a  few minute before deleting the blog, total visitors were almost 170,000 and daily average hit was about 300. The range was 200hits to 2500 hits depend on the political climate of Burma.

My point here, is how difficult to rebuild the deleted blog. My back up files were incomplete, and photos were missing together with wonderful comments.

Today is the day2 of my new blog and total hits  for last 24hrs was 3 !.

That reflects how hard to reconnect with the links that I used to enjoy the take for granted readership of regular visitors.

Anyway, I am not writing a blog for personal purpose. The reason of creating post is the same as it was created more than two years ago.

For the peace, unity and freedom of Burma. I have intended to continue my blog with posts that will be for the benefit  Burma and its people.

Vigilance theme is the latest feature of wordpress that I need to venture more in future. The reason that I chose the theme is ” Vigilance” is so important for the Burmese people who loves to see the Freedom of their motherland.

You taught me English in a very remote town of Burma

You did not buy toys, but books

You did not tell fairytales, but real stories of heroes from Aung San to Lincoln…

Father…

When the first man landed on the moon, you woke me up early in the morning

To listen to the voice:” The Eagle has landed” from VOA

His message was ” When there is a will, there is a way”.

Father…

When I was a teenager, you started telling me about democracy;

Liberty,Freedom, Equality,…and all the Universal Values

Separation of power in Democracy ..

and you made me aware that ” Burma was under the Tyrannic Rule”

I remember the day.. you read to me Readers Digest

About a brave man called”Gogi” who survived a plane crash at below zero degree Celcius in the Arctic,

And instilled the knowledge of courage

Let me recall the day… you gave me the book

‘Papillon’.

Until now I still keep this book with me

For the struggle against wrongful punishment

The theme you wanted me to cherish…

When I came back during the University Holidays

We sipped cups of tea… with Laphet together

Sometimes we forgot to keep track of time … our talks went far into midnight

What we talked about was … how to change Burma

During the year 1988…you have shown me courage

That I will never forget

Dedicated to the country that you love with pride..

The day that you had a heart attack..

You were unconscious..in a ward

When you woke up …the first question you asked was

“Did NLD win in a landslide?”

You survived for another decade

You were busy listening to the radio when ever I visited Rangoon

However you refused to follow me to the free world

Always optimistic …Daw Suu was the hero

You told me Daw Suu…was an unexpected gift for Burmese Democracy

She was not in Shu Maung’s game plan..

Late Khone Hall, Once A prestigious building of Rangoon University

I have decided to use the Header Image of this blog, to be a building which was demolished by the Military Generals of Burma.

Over the left end of the above header photo is the building known as “Lake Khone Hall” in Burmese due to its resemblance to the Back of a Turtle. If I am not wrong, this building had won an International Prize for its architecture design, during early sixties.

All of a sudden that building disappeared and turned into concrete slabs, to the surprise of many people of Rangoon University.

Some said the late dictator Ne Win had ordered to demolish as a Yadaya according to his Sooth Sayers advice.

This building was more than a building. It was a prestige of once famous Rangoon University. Lake Khone Hall, served as a center for the students’ activities as it was located strategically close to the lecture theatres for the students of Medicine and Dentistry. On the other side of the building was the Education Faculty of Rangoon University and famous Hostels such as Ta Gaung for the female students. It was close to the University Sports Stadium and Rangoon University Main Campus.

Most of the today’s youth may have not heard about “Late Khone Hall”. That was a place where most of the Burmese middles class, who graduated from Rangoon University, once proudly said “Symbol of the University “.

When we were on the bus to the campus, the ticket conductor will always announce that the bus was approaching to the Late Khone as traffic at the bus stop was always heavy.

Ne Win is now no more in this world and no one bother to talk about him any more. However “Late Khone Hall” will be fondly remembered by all of us when we talk about our life in the campus and friends.

Dear All,

I have deleted my blog burmasitmone.wordpress.com due to the reason that I believe was justified. However, I am a blogger, and also a person who still want to speak up against the wrong doers, oppressors, and  devil and demons of this world, call planet Earth.

I will be continue writing my posts in English (though most of the posts will be issue relating to the country once known as Burma and its people).

I will try to write posts in Myanmar Language, but my main problem is that my mind is much faster than the speed of typing with Myanmar Fonts.

Anyway, this post will serves as  greeting to those who love peace and hate war in this blogosphere.

Sit Mone’s Mosiac Thought with New Address

Last week, I was in a difficult situation that forced me to change the blog address from http://burmasitmone .wordpress.com to the new address http://theroadtomandalay.wordpress.com.

It would be a rude shock for the regular blog readers to see “the blog has been deleted message” in the previous address, which recorded over 166,000 readers during the last one and a half year.

However, I did the back up of my blog posts up to November 2008.

During the month of December 2008, and January 2009, I have posted very few . The lost of the posts, I would say is minimum, but I have to redo it again from the scratch.

Anyway, this weblog with the same name with the different address would continue as usual and all of you can dig my all previous posts in the Archives or Category button on the left sidebar of the main page.
